Compiler : Some of the problems from 1991- 2000 are too tough. Is it fine to ignore them?

@Sasta_yoda yes. Syllabus hasn't changed since 2016.

@tusharp can you post an example?

@others you have to add in the verify page, otherwise you won't get invite. Those who are already verified can comment here.

@Arjun Thanks for prompt reply sir, One more question, I don't think I'll be able to solve any test series because of lack of time, and I am thinking of sticking to the Previous year questions, is that enough to get a good rank?

Problems related to passes of assembler : https://gateoverflow.in/2721/gate1996-1-17 there are many more. To tackle these need to dig into assembler part though it has not been asked recently.

Just a suggestion not contradicting anyone's views

@others who all are asking for process sync. I agree it is a tricky part but just revise the topic once and solve all previous year questions of process sync, you will automatically develop intuition to tackle these problems.Even I was confused initially.

  It worked for me :)

Discussion will be in second weekend of January. Probably via Hangouts and hence only limited audience on live. Others can get recorded one.

ALU, Datapath, Pipelining will be one topic.

Virtual Memory, Cache / Decidability -- one among these will be other. Rest depending on time availability.

Is it possible to do a discussion on Sliding Window? I am aware of the theoretical concepts, but unable to solve previous years GATE questions given in GO PDF.
