The maximum signal propagation time from one node to another node is $40$ microseconds. The minimum size of a frame in the network is __________ bytes. –1 votes –1 votes In Csma/Cd ,Transmission Time(TT)=2*Propagation Delay ... Then Let x be Frame size .... X/(20*10^6)=2*40*10^-6 => X= 1600 bits = 200 bytes Puja Mishra answered Jan 31, 2017 Puja Mishra comment Share Follow See all 2 Comments See all 2 2 Comments reply Kaushik.P.E commented Feb 1, 2017 reply Follow Share Transmission Time should be >= 2 * propagation time. It need not be equal. As the question ask for minimum packet size, we assume it to be equal. 3 votes 3 votes Puja Mishra commented Feb 1, 2017 i edited by Puja Mishra Jan 23, 2018 reply Follow Share yeah i hav assumed it ... like the answer above ... 0 votes 0 votes Please log in or register to add a comment.
