DL: IEEE 754 Single Precision Range

Question

Can someone please validate if the given range is correct, and we can keep all 0's in Mantissa unlike biased exponent.

I am getting
exponent value smallest=127
and largest=128
As range of exponent could go upto 255
isnot it?

And for denormalized number there should be no implicit 1

means it starts with 0
