i think option d is correct 

x$^{3}$+1 = 1001

x$^{7}$+x$^{5}$+x$^{4}$+x$^{2}$+1  =   10110101

now put extra  bit in d(x)              1001 ) 10110101 000 (1

                                                        xor        1001

                                                                           1001……..so on at the end 

you will get remender 001     here 001=  x^0

now if we follow the procedure we will get 001 i.e. x^0.
