if sender A in network1 is sending packet to receiver B in network2 . The networks are connected by a router1 .At same time, receiver B (or may be some other host in n/w 2) is sending packet to A in network1.

then collision happens or not? I know that each port on a router is in different collision domain.But then how the router would deal with the above situation?? plz explain...asap

there will be no collision because both the packets will be buffered at the router and will be sent to their respective destinations.
