National Informatics Centre (NIC) invites applications from eligible and qualified candidates for filling up of Scientist-B which is a Group-A S&T (Gazetted) post in level 10 (Rs. 56100- Rs.177500) of 7th CPC on Direct Recruitment Basis.

Key Points:
1) For Discipline CS & IT, DS & AI and EC: Corresponding GATE Paper Codes are: CS/DA/EC respectively.
2) Total number of Vacancies for CS/IT discipline: 168 [ UR (70), EWS (16), OBC (45), SC (25), ST(12) ]. Out of 168 seats, 8 are Reserved for PwBDs.
3) Total number of Vacancies for DS & AI discipline: 50 [ UR (22), EWS (5), OBC (13), SC (7), ST(3) ]. Out of 50 seats, 2 are Reserved for PwBDs.
4) Upper Age limit for UR/EWS: 30, OBC(NCL): 33, SC/ST: 35
5) Final year Students are eligible to apply they should have Provisional passing Certificate (in case final degree certificate is not issued).
6) Equal weightage will be given to GATE 2024, GATE 2025 and GATE 2026 Scores.
