Computer Networks Supernetting

Question

Like in subnetting we subtract 2 from number of hosts because these ae reserved for DBA/Network id.

Now when we do supernetting,we dont subtract 2,Like if i say i have supernet which is been made of 4 smaller networks each having 256 addresses,now if we want to broadcast something to 3rd smaller network in supernet completely or to one one particular host of that supernet,then how does this happens as we dont have separate DBA id and small super net id?

Am i missing somewhere,please explain

yes,  you are missing the routers at every path. it's like tree when we add two network there is one internal node which has the address of all the networks. then we join it in one and the router above will be having one entry for that interface.

like this    

                                    external router have one entry( the supernet id)

                                      internal router( has entry for both network)

                   network A                                                                   network B

take an example now and try doing broadcast.
