can any one explain how to find the minimum tables in ER Diagram ?

Refer the chapter named "Relational Database Design by ER- and EER-to-Relational Mapping" by Navathe . It is chapter number 9 for 6th edition. There, they have given a cookbook type algorithm to determine the tables methodically. Highly Recommended
