Virtual circuits involves all source destination & intermediate routers. 0 votes 0 votes joshi_nitish commented Dec 3, 2017 reply Follow Share i was thinking something else and answered something else, now see again my comment. 0 votes 0 votes yogi_p commented Dec 3, 2017 reply Follow Share TCP uses pseudo virtual circuit switching, how can TCP use virtual circuiting, when it use IP at N/W layer(which uses datagram switching), but atleast it keep reserve resources at end points, so it is somewhere b/w datagram and virtual circuting. Yeah I agree with it, i.e. what TCP is Currently (its used in datagram) But Coming to the statement can it be used in Virtual circuits ? then why not? TCP has also a reliable mechanism. see this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_circuit#Layer_4_virtual_circuits layer 4 virtual circuits Also How can we do it in IPv6 ? 0 votes 0 votes yogi_p commented Dec 6, 2017 reply Follow Share @joshi_nitish Any Explanation ? 0 votes 0 votes Please log in or register to add a comment.
