without knowing that what you are procedure doing, you can't answer these type of questions.

i hope they wanna copy the all nodes ( creating duplicate linked list )

then answer is head ===> option B is true.

 

if they gave what happens with that procedure and you are not getting that procedure, then simply check each and every option on sample data.

can u please explain.. because in that the head pointer is not moved from the current to new still it is pointing to the current node. make me correct if wrong

 in recursion, it is changing right?

struct node *first(struct node *head)

note that head is a local variable.
