@Anjali  D) SRTF was listed as pre-emptive. Any pre-emptive discipline pays a context switching cost. SRTF optimizes average waiting time, not CPU utilization.

B) If the OS is always executing in the interrupt handler, then it is not running processes.

@Prince Sindhiya 4 can be true , as it says "srtf could maximize cpu utilization" and in some cases srtf can maximize cpu utilization, in 1 and 3 they mean always minimize which is not the case. For 2, it depends on the interrupt handler as you can see in this answer https://stackoverflow.com/questions/22545436/interrupt-handler-and-process-scheduler.

@Prince Sindhiya yes..see if cpu spends all of the time to handle interrupts then no process will be sheduled and run on cpu....so scheduler will not come into picture and thus is irrelevant
