Best answer 56 56 votes Everybody in the class is prepared for the exam. The above statement is correct as when we say everybody or everyone, we are considering the class as a unit. So singular form of the verb “is” is correct. Babu invited Danish to his house because he enjoys playing chess. The above statement is ambiguous because we are not sure who “he” refers to – it can be either Babu or Danish. Option C follows from the above. cherrywood55 answered Feb 18, 2021 • edited Apr 17, 2021 by Lakshman Bhaiya cherrywood55 comment Share Follow See all 2 Comments 2 2 Comments reply sahil2003 commented Jun 28, 2021 reply Follow flag In II sentence in the question there is home But Can we use use "to" prior to home isn't it inappropriate? 3 3 votes Ans.CThe correct observation is:1 is grammatically correct and 2 is ambiguous.Reason: The first sentence is clear and correct. The second sentence is grammatically correct but ambiguous because it's unclear whether "he" refers to Babu or Danish, leading to potential confusion about who enjoys playing chess. ritiksri8 answered Aug 10, 2024 ritiksri8 comment Share Follow 0 reply Please log in or register to add a comment.
