Let say, speed of goods train is $x km/hr. $

Passenger train speed is 75 km/hr and it overtakes the goods train after 6 hours.

i.e within 6 hours the passenger train covered the distance :

75 x 6 km = 450 km

Goods train travelled total (9+6) hours = 15 hours when Passenger train overtakes it.

Total distance travelled by Goods train = 15x km

So, 15x = 450 i.e x = 30

Speed of the goods train is  $ 30\ km/hr $

Correct Ans : $ Option\ C $
