Average of $100$ number is $60$ that is:

$x_1+x_2+x_3…..x_{100}=100*60=6000$

Now $70,80$ is removed;

$x_1+x_2+x_3…..x_{98}=6000-70-80=5850$

so the new average is:$5850/98=59.69$
