In (https://gateoverflow.in/219555/number-of-tables) number of tables to be made was 4, merging E1 and E2 in one table, one for R3, and for E3 and one for E4. 

Now based on that, how many tablesfor this er diagram. 

The answer is 6, 4 tables for entities ABCD and 2 tables for relationships R3 and R2, but if we consider the above question we should be able to merge B and D in a similar manner, I am confused regarding when to merge tables and when to not, someone please help me
