  • Stock A
    • Price = ₹50 per share
    • Investment = ₹100
    • Shares bought = 100 / 50 = 2 shares
    • Sold at ₹55
    • Selling value = 2 × 55 = ₹110
    • Profit = ₹110 − ₹100 = ₹10
  • Stock B
    • Price = ₹80 per share
    • Investment = ₹80
    • Shares bought = 80 / 80 = 1 share
    • Sold at ₹70
    • Selling value = 1 × 70 = ₹70
    • Loss = ₹80 − ₹70 = ₹10

Net Profit

Profit on A − Loss on B = ₹10 − ₹10 = ₹0
