DTU VS MNNIT

Question

Which is better MNNIT CSE or DTU CSE?

My first concern is placement.

Answer 1

MNNIT is good , i can't compare. But I can authenticate that DTU(all three branches of MTech,CSE,SWE,ISY) satisfies you in number of opportunities. One has to join to get a feel of it.I am telling only in terms of placement,no other factors involved.

Only disadvantage is the huge number of btech students you have to compete with.

Comments

If your concern is placement then DTU mtech placement is comparable to IITs and Top 3 NITs as it has lots of opportunities.

No doubt MNNIT is also very good college placement as well as reputation wise.

But I would always say on the basis of last 3 year placement record of DTU as it is preferable after Top 7 IITs/IISC/IIIT Hyderabad & 3 NITs.

If academics and research is your main concern then please don't consider it.

But for placement you just name it any company is on the campus.

It's all depends upon you that how much you are technically strong to crack those top companies.

Even in DTU Apple comes only for Mtech but till now no one is able to crack.

Alumni of mtech is every where in good companies.

@learner_geek Hello, I got gate score of 589 this year, can you tell which branch can I get out of CS, SWE ,IS . Also my main concern is, if I get SS then should I do SWE from DTU or SS from BITS Pilani? Main criteria for choosing is placements. Also at DTU is coding culture good enough that we can develop competitive programming abilities till placement times.

Thank you.
