in 1 syatem there is a circular wait...so that means deadlock is there ..
in 2 system r2 resources are two one allocated to P4 after work it will give back so now R2 has one resource which is left as availableso now  P3 resorce request is satisfied ,similarly u can see in diagram every process is satisfied without any deadlock ..

so in 1 system deadlock is there and in 2 system no deadlock
