In my collection of coins, I have 2 more 5 paisa coins than 25 paisa coins. How many 5 paisa coins are there if the collection is worth Rs. 3.40?

Let, 'x' number of 25 paisa coin.

then, 'x+2' number of 5 paisa coin.

so, 25x + 5(x+2) = 340

=> x= 11

Thus, number of 5 paisa coin = (11+2) = 13.
