It means during Call execution first I am going to push this 2 words on the stack, and stack is going downwards implies I need to subtract address. Hence it becomes 434E. I didn't understand why you said 2 Byte information retrieve from top of the stack. We are just pushing information. right? 1 votes 1 votes Magma commented Sep 24, 2018 reply Follow Share OOh sorry ...i make mistake...thanks Swapnil Naik for correcting me ! 0 votes 0 votes Na462 commented Sep 29, 2018 reply Follow Share Suppose the question were asked using byte addressable memory then i would have subtracted by 4 right ? 0 votes 0 votes Swapnil Naik commented Sep 29, 2018 reply Follow Share They will mostly specify how much bytes needed for program counter and other registers if any. 0 votes 0 votes Na462 commented Sep 29, 2018 reply Follow Share Well it's given that the registers including others are of 2 bytes so 2 words means 4 bytes so decrement by 4 should be done 0 votes 0 votes Swapnil Naik commented Sep 30, 2018 reply Follow Share Yes. 0 votes 0 votes Please log in or register to add a comment.
