The speedup will be calculated as $\frac{\text{Increased Value}}{\text{Original Value}} \times 100$, where the increased value is 360, original is 1000. 0 votes 0 votes Soumya Tiwari commented Dec 12, 2018 reply Follow Share But Speedup is calculated as, Speedup=(Execution time original)/(Execution time new)...Isn't it.?? 0 votes 0 votes goxul commented Dec 12, 2018 reply Follow Share That is something I am confused about too. However, in general if we find percentage increase, we used Increased Value/Original value and multiply that with 100. I used the same to get the answer was 36. And I think it makes sense because earlier it took us 1000 ns and now it takes us 640 ns - a reduction of 360 ns. That is the amount of time it has become faster by. 1 votes 1 votes Soumya Tiwari commented Dec 12, 2018 reply Follow Share Hmm....yes you're right Got your point too!! :) Thanks! 0 votes 0 votes Please log in or register to add a comment.
