Can any tell the formula for A<B and A=B

I understand the solution but I didn’t found any formula on net. Any valid links are welcome.

in general derivation like :-

Here we compare 4 - 4 bits

Therefore = A= B = 16 bits

From 8 bits , total number of expression possible = 2^8 = 256

= 256- 16= 240

 Number of (A> B) = Number of ( A<B)

 Therefore 240/2 = 120 ans
