A data warehouse is always Subject oriented.

A data warehouse is a centralized repository for storing and managing large amounts of data from various sources for analysis and reporting. It is optimized for fast querying and analysis, enabling organizations to make informed decisions by providing a single source of truth for data.

One of the major characteristics of a data warehouse is that it is subject-oriented. It delivers information about a theme instead of an organization’s current operations. These themes can be sales, distributions, marketing, etc. A data warehouse never focuses only on current operations. Instead, it focuses on modeling and analysis of data for decision-making. It also provides an easy and precise representation around a particular theme by eliminating data which is not required to make decisions
