Hello everyone !

I am planning to go for PhD abroad after completion of Masters. From this perspective, I need an IIT with good CS faculty and research environment. What can be the best choice for me in 2nd generation other than Hyderabad and BHU.

Also, as per my research so far Indore and Gandhinagar seem to be good but I am confused in them - as per NIRF and QS rankings Indore is better and as per CS Rankings Gandhinagar.

What shall I chose? Also besides Gandhinagr and Indore what can be other options for me?

Instead of focusing on NIRF and QS ranking, explore about courses being offered and faculty profile. Connect with current/recently graduated students and explore about the scenario there. You can directly connect with the prof as well with whom you want to work.

Whats your GATE score ? Why are you taregtting only 2nd gen IITs ? You can try IIITs as well.
