Question

I am 2023 pass out , I took 1 year drop and got only 4.7k rank , I am completely lost in life what should do .? Now days I feeling that I am not sharp engouh to crack gate

GATE - is not only thing to do in life.

What shall I do - it's depends upon individual.  Some may start business,  some may join software companies, some may join as techers etc. What to do if one path is not working for us - this should be decided by you based on your skills on other things. No one here can judge and suggest you the right way.

I got also bad rank last year(in GATE 2023) and I appeared again and still got an average rank only but I aced other opportunities like PGEE and IITH exams and got the both institutes.

So my first concern is have you tried different different opportunities(like PGEE,BITS,MS Programs at IITs?) if yes and got failed then no problem, atleast you tried but if you haven't then ask yourself why you didn't?

and for future I can say that

ask yourself you really want to do MTech and can prepare hard for another year? if you're passionate about it, then go for another year but this time give your all in every aspect and eventually you will get something good at the end.

if you're confused then leave GATE prep for some time first look for job at any pay, join it and then prepare simuntaneously with job.
