Expected iit
My marks for gate cse 2019 as per GO is 70. This year the trend totally changed. Previous year with a marks of 70 one would get into IITB easily, rank around 50. But this year i guess it will be hard to get into IITH with 70 marks. What IIT can I expect?

First time posting something non technical. Today Madeeasy CBT mock 1 result came and i am very disappointed by my performance. After preparing so sincerely it feels very bad.Most of people says CBT is replica of performance in gate. During my entire prep feeling low for first time :( and at very last time. Helpful if some senior person helps on this. :( Thanks

#mocktest #suggestion Which of these strategies will be best for attempting mock test ? 1- FCFS (Attepmting each question as it's come ) 2- SJF (Solving easy then moderate & then difficult by finding their level ) 3- Round Robin + SRTF ( Giving quantam time of 0.5-2 minute then solving remaining problems ) 4- Any other strategy . divisibility: |w| i.e length of string is divisible by a,b. If a doesn't divide b and b doesn't divide a then Min. states = a*b Case 1 : Divisible by a and b ----> If a divides b or b divides a then Min. No .of states = LCM(a,b) Case 2: Divisible by a or b ------> If a divides b or b divides a then Min. states = GCD(a,b) Doubt -> is these all cases are true always ?

Should I try for GATE again next year?
I had applied for the GATE exam with the hope of studying well and getting good score. But eventually, I ended up concentrating more on job search and did not study for GATE at all. A day or two before exam, I just solved one paper, but ... education. Online courses and self study works best for me, but I guess I need a better dog tag. What do you suggest?

Suppose i delete the root element from the heap then i will apply the heapify() procedure on root,and suppose if i delete a random element form heap which will take O(n) time in total then the procedure is:- 1. Locate the element. 2.Swap with the ... Maxheapify(A[i]) } Am i right? And following this strategy we will find the minimum number of swaps or comparison required isnt it?
