Which is much better mode of revision:-

Revising huge notes or solving pyqs again.

Any thoughts?

It all depends on you but make sure that you do questions parallel to your revsion becuase only revision won't be enought, you also need to check how much you revise.
Again : Follow your own strategy which suits YOU best, the strategy which makes YOU the TOPPER

I think you are right each person has own strength and own quality

My elder brother scored 31 rank in gate cs he told me that revising notes is must but my notes have become way too much big his notes were not as much big as mine.

Overall time is less also just only revising notes will not lead anywhere as questions in gate are not direct I mean you understood
