DIGITAL LOGIC Syllabus doubt.

In almost every chapter of Moris Mano, I come across this hdl(hardware description language). Is it in the syllabus for 2017?

Also, chapter 6 of Moris Mano 6th edition is on Registers. Should I read it too?

it is not in syllebus. HDL is a language that is used to build modern computer from basic logic gates
