PTE = frame number = bits use to represent all the frames.

(But remember it is not equal to always frame number, there might be some more bits such as reference bit, dirty page bit, etc present, but don't worry about that here, that would explicitly mentioned in the question)

So, PTE = frame number

no of frames = MM size/PS = 2⁶⁴ /2¹⁶ = hence total frames = 2^48 (bits req =48= frame number = PTE)

Physical address=f+d=64 bits

Logical address=P1+P2 +d=64

Here P1=32,P2=16

From above d=16 bits =page size bits

Now f=64-16=48 bits

Now outer page table size=2^32*48bits

=2^32*6 bytes=24 GB
