While converting the logical address into physical address through paging why do we need to load the entire page table into the main memory?

Because you don't know which page you're gonna need beforehand, therefore the entire page table of the process needs to be in the memory.

hence to prevent loading the entire page table, we use multilevel page table instead. Multilevel page table allows only a part of the entire page table which is needed, to be loaded into the main memory.
