Ok, i understand it now,

firstly we'd need d bits for offset

we'd have 2^d / 2^2 entries per page => d-2 bits

for p2 we'd need d-2 bits

and since in the question it has mentioned that outer page table fits exactly into 1 page, p1 = d-2 only

so (d-2) + (d-2) + d = 26

d = 10

and so page size = 2^10 Bytes = 1 KB
