Objective:
The main objective of COAP is to fill all the M.Tech seats and also to provide a common platform for all the participating PSU's to upload their Job offers to the GATE Qualified candidates.
How does it work?
The participating institutes or PSUs will upload about their M.Tech seat availability or job offers on the COAP site. If the participating candidate is fully satisfied with the offer and want to accept the M.Tech seat / job offer, he/she may choose the option 'Accept and Freeze' and visit the respective institutes/PSU's website to complete the process within the specified deadline.
If one is partially satisfied with the offer and still wants to consider the other offers too, then the candidate can choose the option 'Retain and Wait'. And proceed to the further rounds. If the candidate is not satisfied with the offer, then 'Reject and wait' option can be selected to review other offers of further rounds. If the candidate does not take any action in the particular round, then all the offers will be considered 'Rejected'.
