A man ate 300 mangoes in 15 days , each day eating two more than the previous day . How many mangoes did he eat on the 3rd day?

Let on first day number of mangoes ate were x

so on second day it will be x+2 ,third day it will be x+4 and so on...

so x+x+2+x+4+x+6+x+8+x+10+x+12+x+14+x+16+x+18+x+20+x+22+x+24+x+26+x+28=300

so 15x+210=300

x=6

Since question was asked on 6+4=10
