We are also inviting everyone to participate in a contest to generate interesting analysis graphs for this data. Finding which graphs are useful to the GATE aspirants is also part of this task - so not saying anything more. Graphs can be generated by copying the Google spreadsheet and using the spreadsheet itself or using any custom tool. The final results can be posted as a comment here - (links to the spreadsheet with graph also works).

hello @Arjun . will mindmap representation work? Scatterplot or Grouped Graphs will become very cluttered.
can you help a little if im missing out on something? i have been trying to work this for sometime now 😅

@Shatakshi_1 I don't think there is any requirement to show all the data in the graph. 

The users of this are the GATE aspirants. So, the graphs should be useful to them.

Some things I can think of are as follows:

1. For every year, do a line graph showing the total marks per subject. Consider Engineering Mathematics as including Probability, Linear Algebra and Calculus and Discrete Mathematics as including all the topics under it. Here, year can be 2021-2024, 2016-2020 and 2010-2015 as there was a syllabus change in 2021 and before that in 2016. 

2. Samething as above can be done but within Engineering Mathematics and Discrete Mathematics separately for their subtopics.

3. Number of 1 and 2 mark questions - not that relevant information in my opinion 

4. For all the graphs above, an "expected line" can be drawn for "GATE 2025" - which can be the average from 2021-2024.
