Hence interval for 3 ACK = 16-22 And It doesn't seem any timeout interval is there. 0 votes 0 votes sachin! commented Jan 1, 2018 reply Follow Share TIME OUT OCCUR AFTER 22 RTT 3ACK OCUR AFTER 16RTT 0 votes 0 votes Shivam Chauhan commented Jan 1, 2018 reply Follow Share I am not able to recognize value between 21 and 32 in congestion window so I take it as 26. At t = 16, CW = 42 At t = 17 sender get 3ACK's so it makes CW = 21 and Moves to Fast Retransmit but as soon as it gets new ACK it moves to Congestion Avoidance At t = 22 CW = 26 At t = 23 sender gets no ACK so Timeout and makes CW = 1 and Moves to Slow Start 0 votes 0 votes Ashwin Kulkarni commented Jan 1, 2018 reply Follow Share @sachin after 22 I don't think there will be timeout. Because after timeout again it should start from 1mss and should grow exponentially till TH. But it grows linearly. 0 votes 0 votes Ashwin Kulkarni commented Jan 1, 2018 reply Follow Share @shivam at t=23 CW != 1. It is not timeout I think. And also it grows linearly. It cannot be a timeout. 0 votes 0 votes Shivam Chauhan commented Jan 1, 2018 reply Follow Share @Ashwin+Kulkarni at t = 23 CW = 0 and then it grows linearly. I don't know in which situation this condition arises so I took it as Timeout. 0 votes 0 votes Ashwin Kulkarni commented Jan 1, 2018 reply Follow Share That case is an assumption! Then it is for sure timeout. But according to the given graph it is not 0 votes 0 votes nikkey123 commented Jan 1, 2018 reply Follow Share slow start phase started at t=17 and continue till 22 0 votes 0 votes Please log in or register to add a comment.
