Consider the following statements:
S1 : Microprogrammed control unit uses fixed logic to interrupt instruction.
S2 : Horizontal microprogramming control unit requires an additional hardware (like a decoder)
S3 : The overall performance of a system is directly proportional to the memory accesses which can be satisfied by the cache.
Which of the following options is correct?

Ans. Only S3.

Brief reason is appreciated :)

I have problem in only Statement 1, please do explain that why it is the way it is ?
Rest of all points are Good :)
Please little bit help here

to which question you are directing is different from this question Microprogramming

Microprogrammed control unit uses fixed logic to interrupt instruction is false because it have flexibility over control  signals and execution..

why it have flexibility ??

because we can change the bits of control word and bits of control word decide what we have to do

means we can change the logic to interrupt instruction
