First convert the hexadecimal number into binary.

$A_{16}=1010_2$ and $7_{16}=0111_2$.

So, $A7_{16}=10100111_2$.

Since this is an $8$-bit $2$’s complement number and the MSB is $1$, the number is negative.

To find its magnitude, take the $2$’s complement of $10100111$.

First invert all bits:

$10100111 \rightarrow 01011000$

Now add $1$:

$01011000+1=01011001$

Now convert $01011001_2$ into decimal:

$01011001_2=64+16+8+1=89$

So, the magnitude is $89$.

Since the original number was negative, the decimal value is $-89$.

Final Answer: $\boxed{-89}$

So it very simple first convert it in binary and then change to decimal but be careful as it is 2's complement so first bit will be in -ve like here it is -128 and rest sum is +39 so after doing addition -128+39 = -89
