Vectored or non vectored Interrupt

Question

In this state diagram of interrupt, where interrupt service routine is used? Why both hardware and software control are needed to service an interrupt?

PC,PSW and ISR how it execute one after another, I just getting problem which is the order of coming these to process interrupt and why?(Any easy discussion on this)

Shaik Masthan hmm you got point as it is responsibility of isr to tell us where to go after executing isr so yepp i am also with that isr is full software here in this diagram

1)According to u stack used to service interrupt and it also used for threads. So, if they use same stack or different stack?

may be with example i can little help suppose 3 devices keyboard , harddisk and mouse

interrupt occurs to all of them .we know harddisk is fast among them as it can transfer data 15 mbsec just assume . then mouse as we can just point to any file in whole computer in just micro seconds . then keyboard how hard we try we cant attain speed of hard disk and mouse with this as we are writing characters from keyboard how fast we can go.

now suppose interrupt occurs to all of them . how we know which one cause interrupt ? so we solve them by priorityit should be like first solve hard disk as its fastest ( by fastest i means speed close to cpu speed ) then mouse then keyboard but if this access to user then user can go for keyboard as he wants to write something .

but it shouldnt happen because high priority device is there so no user level access
