A can is filled with $5$ paise coins. Another can is filled with $10$ paise coins. Another can is filled with $25$ paise coins. All the cans are given wrong labels. If the can labeled $25$ paise is not having the $10$ paise coins, what will the can, labeled $10$ paise have?

  1. $25$ paise
  2. $5$ paise
  3. $10$ paise

Option (A) 25 paise

let we have 3 cans having coins as following:

  A B C
Actual Coins 5 10 25
Possible labeling (1) 10 25 5
Possible labeling (2) 25 5 10

 

Now we have 2 possible labeling. But according to the question, can labelled 25 paise is not having 10 paise coins, therefore labelling (1) is not correct. Hence coins are labelled according to labelling(2). So the can labelled 10 paise actually have 25 paise coins.
