what is the diff between latch and flip flop

is clocked latch a flip flop  ?  

and flip flop without clock pulse input is latch ?

A latch is a basic element of sequential circuit but it is not operative in nature.

On the other hand flip flop is an operative version of latch in which clock input is also there which is responsible for its operation.
