In Johnson Counter some standard books treat Johnson counter and Twisted Ring counter as same and some standard books don't treat them same like Morris Mano says that -  A Johnson counter is a k-bit switch-tail ring counter with 2k decoding gates to provide outputs for 2k timing signals

if question on johnson counter comes in gate exam so while solving should we treat Johnson counter and Twisted Ring counter as same or different
