I Had only studied for 2 months for GATE 2018 and scored 517. When I checked IITB Cutoff For SC category, I found out that It was 500. So I satisfy their Cut Off for admission process. But does it mean I'll get a seat for Mtech ? an interview at least ? ... I know it is not a very good score, and I have already decided to study for GATE 2019. But still... I was wondering if it is possible for me to get admission this year... Also, Can anyone please explain what exactly the difference is between merely satisfying requirements and getting admission ?
PS: Any small detail will help, So, Please comment as soon as possible as I don't know whether I should fill the admission form or not ! ... and deadline is 11 - April - 2018
