In ASCII, uppercase and lowercase letters differ only at bit 6 (when counting from LSB as bit 1). This bit has a binary weight of 32 .

Complementing bit 6 toggles the case of a letter.

As we know, ASCII value of 'a' = 97

ASCII value of 'A' = 65

So, difference between ASCII values of lower case and uppercase letter is 32.

So, if we want to convert lower case to uppercase, we have to change the bit, which can make them differ by 32. So, we have to change the 6th bit from the last if we consider LSB as 1.

So ans = 6
