Firstly I want to thank GOD for providing me :
- Good Health
- Good Study environment and Motivation
- Supportive Parents
I began studying for Gate around October 2024. I saw some pyqs on "PracticePaper.in" and each of their solutions pointed to "gateoverflow.in". That was my introduction to this amazing website.
Later I came to know about Go classes, while reading some testimonies here. I saw some of their lectures on YouTube.
Their lectures are super easy to follow. What I learned from them are as follows :
- Importance of standard textbooks.
- Technical guidance in each subject, featuring important problem templates.
- Awareness of various topics in each aubject
I got enrolled as Go classes Complete course student. And completed all the subjects by June 2025.
After gaining an overall understanding of the syllabus and various topics to cover.
I began attempting pyqs, year-wise on Gateoverflow.in. This is the best feature on the website, which no one else on the internet can offer. It gives a detailed analysis report at the end. This helped me focus on my weak areas.
Why I recommend Gateoverflow :
- This is the culmination of knowledge and discussions, on all the pyqs from 1987. Even a beginner can gain all the required knowledge for GATE, just from reading the answers.
- The admin team are very responsive, and are actively integrating new features which are requested by the aspirants.
- The greatest pyqs textbook "GO PDF", has all the pyqs categorized into topics. This is very helpful, when focusing on our weak areas/difficult topics.
- Community. It is a great place to make new friends and help each other, who share a common goal.

The only way to get a good score in GATE is consistency. Aim to complete atleast 1 topic each day.
Identify :
- High Weightage Topics
- Weak Areas
Browse the related pyqs in GO PDF. Study that topic in Textbook. Solve textbook example problems, exercise problems. Finally revisit GATE pyqs.
Don't forget to revise the completed topics.
Maintain this rythm each day, and GATE 2027 is yours 😁
