In the first link they are calculating it with the given hit ratios but in 2nd link @Arjun sir is saying that, Write through always goes to memory, so hit rate does not matter for time. But in both question it is given that, If there is a miss then block is to be brought from main memory to cache. Which means hierarchical access. Plz tell me what's the difference between those question and how to solve them. Any statement can be given like this in question and we have to solve accordingly.
