Cache updation policy doubt

In this two questions, I am not getting how to find T_avgW . In the first link they are calculating it with the given hit ratios but in 2nd link @Arjun sir is saying that, Write through always goes to memory, so hit rate does not matter for time.

But in both question it is given that, If there is a miss then block is to be brought from main memory to cache. Which means hierarchical access.

Plz tell me what's the difference between those question and how to solve them.

This is due to

Whenever there is a miss in cache, associated block must be brought from main memory to cache for read and write operation.

in first question.

Any statement can be given like this in question and we have to solve accordingly. That is why I always say those who learns formula are simply wasting time.

But @Arjun sir in second question there is written as 

If there is a miss then 2 word block is to be through from main memory to cache.

which also means the same. That's what confusing me.
