BARC invites the applications for following for following two Programmes OCES/DGFS-2026 recruitment programme and DDFS-2026 doctoral academic programme.

Screening for selection interviews (for OCES/DGFS - 2026) is based on two alternative screening channels / options:
1) On the basis of Online examination : The syllabus for the online exam is specific to the science/Engineering examination discipline which a candidate has selected. The questions are intended to assess the basic understanding of subjects in the area of the science/Engineering exam discipline selected by the candidate. Emphasis would be on the knowledge and problem-solving ability rather than on the memory of the candidate. General English, General Knowledge, Aptitude etc. are not assessed.
2) On the basis of GATE score : Applicant, who meet all the eligibility criteria would be screened in for selection interview on the basis of a valid GATE-2024 and/or GATE2025 and/or GATE-2026 score in the applicable GATE subject.
Note : The candidates may opt for both the above mention screening modes/ channels (for maximize the chances of their screening) during online application to avail the both mode of screening channel but those who have opted only GATE score as a screening option will NOT be eligible for online exam (CBT) nor they will be allotted an examination slot for the online examination.

Details of Qualifying degree (Relevant M. Tech. Programme/ Specialisation : Computer Science & Engineering ) (DGFS) : B.E./B.Tech. /B.Sc. (Engineering) in Computer Science / Computer Engineering/ Computer Science & Engineering. Institute (under consideration) where specified M. Tech. courses is offered : IIT Bombay.
Important Points :
1) Applicants whose qualifying degree name includes the core degree name with any specialization are eligible for OCES/DGFS-2026 programme. Also refer to names of the degrees which are NOT eligible for OCES/DGFS programme as mentioned in Section 4.a of the Information Brochure at page no. 12
2) Maximum Age Limit (Maximum Age as on August 1, 2026) – i. General category - 26 years, ii. OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) - 29 years, iii. SC/ST – 31 years,
3) Applicants awaiting final results and / or appearing in qualifying exam in academic year 2025- 2026 may also apply for OCES/DGFS-2026 programme. Kindly Read Point No. 7 on Page 26 of the Brochure for detailed information.
